Calan Savoy is a data analyst in Dr. Van Lieshout’s lab. He graduated with an MSc. in Neuroscience from McMaster University in 2016 and joined the lab soon after. He is currently providing analytical support to the 1-day, Public Health Nurse, and Peer CBT randomized controlled trials being undertaken in this lab. Calan is also investigating the influence of prenatal risk factors upon mental health in adolescence using the 2014 Ontario Child Health Study (OCHS). He has also studied the physiological and genetic consequences of extremely low birth weight. In his free time, Calan enjoys biking, camping, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
