Jaslyn Drage recently graduated from the Honours Biology and Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour program at McMaster University and is currently working as a Research Assistant. Since joining the lab, she has contributed to a randomized controlled trial evaluating a 9-week peer-delivered CBT workshop for PPD, a systematic review that assessed the effects of bariatric surgery on the mental health and cognition of people with obesity, a randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of CBT for PPD on infant emotion regulation, and a systematic review that looked at the effectiveness of peer support interventions on postpartum depression and anxiety. For her undergraduate thesis, she conducted mixed methods research and described participants’ perceptions of a 1-day peer-delivered CBT workshop for PPD. Jaslyn mainly assists with a randomized controlled trial assessing the effectiveness of a 1-day CBT workshop for preventing PPD and occasionally helps with cost-effectiveness analyses. She is working towards a career as a medical doctor. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
