Haley Layton

BPH, MPH

Haley Layton is a research coordinator and a part-time PhD student in the Health Research Methodology (HRM) graduate program at McMaster. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health (BPH) and a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) at Brock University. Haley began working with the group in 2016 and has supported several studies over the years. She currently coordinates two randomized controlled trials: Public Health Nurse Delivered CBT and Online Peer-Delivered 1-Day CBT Workshops. As part of her thesis Haley is working on a mixed methods study examining public health nurse-delivered 1-day CBT-based workshops for postpartum depression. Haley hopes to pursue a career in the public health field. In her free time Haley enjoys cycling, gardening, and cooking.
