Nancy Lloyd

Nancy Lloyd is a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences. After completing both her B.Sc. in Psychology and M.Sc. in Health Research Methodology at McMaster, Nancy began her career in research at McMaster’s Cancer Care Ontario Program in Evidence-based Care (CCO-PEBC). Nancy then completed a variety of research projects in the area of thromboprophylaxis, where she helped lead a cluster randomized trial. Nancy then worked for Canadian Agency for Drugs & Technologies in Health (CADTH), where she helped provide decision-makers with objective evidence to help make informed decisions about the optimal use of oncology drugs. Nancy is currently working with Dr. Ryan Van Lieshout on a randomized controlled trial comparing the impact of a 1-Day CBT-based workshop on rates of postpartum depression when added to treatment as usual (TAU) versus TAU alone. In her free time, Nancy enjoys hiking and watching her two daughters perform in equestrian events.
